About the company
Oi S.A., together with its subsidiaries, provides telecommunication services in Brazil and internationally. The company offers integrated voice, broadband and pay TV, fiber optics, security, IoT, call center and telemarketing services, network services, fixed, and Wi-Fi Internet, and local and long-distance voice transmission services. It also operates a fiber optic network; and provides multimedia communication services (SCM) and conditional access service (SeAC). In addition, the company offers Oi Solutions, which includes business solutions for its medium-sized and large corporate customers to digital and IT services; and legacy services, which include telecommunications services related to copper technology and regulated wholesale services. The company was formerly known as Brasil Telecom S.A. and changed its name to Oi S.A. in February 2012. Oi S.A. was founded in 1998 and is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
