Does a good backtest mean it will work in future?
No. Past performance is not a reliable indicator, and value strategies can lag for years.
What does survivorship-adjusted mean?
Companies that no longer exist stay in the test. Counting only survivors makes any strategy look better than it was.
Can I check the numbers?
