It holds interest in the Dubbo project, which contains rare earths, zirconium, niobium, and hafnium located in central-western New South Wales. The company also constructs and operates Korean metals plant located in Ochang, South Korea. It serves advanced manufacturing, defense, electric vehicles, wind turbines, semiconductors, medical devices, robotics, and sustainable energy industries. The company was formerly known as Australian Zirconia Holdings Pty Ltd and changed its name to Australian Strategic Materials Ltd in March 2020. Australian Strategic Materials Ltd was founded in 2000 and is based in West Perth, Australia.
