It is also involved in the mine development, rental business, power generation, and real estate activities. The company was formerly known as Miryung Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd and changed its name to Dongbu Corporation in March 1989. Dongbu Corporation was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
