It operates through three segments: Global Financial Markets, Financing, and Corporate Finance. The company offers global securities and futures trading; wealth management; asset management; corporate finance advisory services to listed issuers; and commercial and personal loans and mortgages. It also provides investment products, including stocks, futures and options, stock options and connect, margin financing and stock borrowing and lending, investment and money market funds, bond investments, warrants and CBBCs, and structured products. In addition, the company offers corporate finance services, such as listing, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, project investment, asset sale, corporate restructuring, and issuance, placement, and underwriting of shares and bonds, as well as marketing and distribution. Further, it is involved in the provision of CIES; securities and futures brokerage; money lending; management; investor or public relations; insurance and other brokerage; brand building and promotion; and business development services. The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
