What matters now
- For a financial, book-value and earnings-based methods matter more than a cash-flow DCF, which fits banks and insurers poorly.
- Our model range runs from R$39.09 (bear) to R$65.14 (bull), base R$52.12. The closer the price sits to the lower half, the larger the margin of safety.
- Quality 66/100 (solid quality) with high evidence: the data supports the verdict.

Analysis
Itaú Unibanco Holding (ITUB3) currently trades at R$44.87, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is R$52.12, implying the stock looks roughly 16.2% undervalued today. We read business quality at 66/100 (solid quality), in the Financial Services sector. Bull case: trading below our estimate, it may offer upside if the fundamentals hold. Bear case: a low price can be a value trap when quality is weak or the data is thin (evidence: high), always confirm before acting.
Over the trailing twelve months, Itaú Unibanco Holding generated revenue of R$138B at a net margin of 33.3%. Revenue declined 2.1% year over year. It earns a return on equity of 21.8%. Net debt stands at R$742B. Fundamentals as of Jul 17, 2026
Our scenario range runs from R$39.09 (bear case) to R$65.14 (bull case); at R$44.87, the current price sits within that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. The share trades about 6% below its 52-week high and 64% above its 52-week low, currently above its 200-day average. For context, the median of 10 Financial Services peers we cover trades at 42% fair-value upside, at 16%, ITUB3 screens richer than that median.
Fair Value models
Each model estimates fair value its own way; the Fair Value above is the evidence-weighted blend. Evidence (0–100) measures how completely this model’s inputs are available: well-fed models carry more weight in the blend. The spread across models is intentional, each one stresses a different value driver; dividend models, for instance, come out structurally low when payout is small.
All 25 models by family
Widest divergence: Growth DCF (R$255.99) versus Asset-Based (R$12.25). Highest evidence: Growth DCF (80).
