What matters now

  • The price is below even our cautious bear case ($2.23). The market is more pessimistic than our downside scenario.
  • The model range is unusually wide ($2.23 to $6.39). The outcome hinges heavily on assumptions, so read the point estimate with caution.
  • Solid quality (47/100) at a price below fair value, the discount is the argument here, not the business quality.

Analysis

Hf Foods Group Inc (HFFG) currently trades at $1.79, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is $4.31, implying the stock looks roughly 58.5% undervalued today. The Quality Score stands at 47/100 (below-average quality), in the Consumer Defensive sector. How firm this estimate is: it rests on 12 models at a data quality of 94/100, which puts the evidence level at medium.

Over the trailing twelve months, Hf Foods Group Inc generated revenue of $1.2B at a net margin of −2.9%. Revenue grew 4.5% year over year. It earns a return on equity of −16.4%. Net debt stands at $214M. Fundamentals as of Aug 22, 2026

Our scenario range runs from $2.23 (bear case) to $6.39 (bull case); at $1.79, the current price sits below that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. The share trades about 54% below its 52-week high and 30% above its 52-week low, currently below its 200-day average. For context, the median of 10 Consumer Defensive peers we cover trades at −27% fair-value upside, at 141%, HFFG screens cheaper than that median.

Fair Value models

Each model estimates fair value its own way; the Fair Value above is the evidence-weighted, family-balanced blend. Evidence (0–100) measures how completely this model’s inputs are available: well-fed models carry more weight in the blend. The spread across models is intentional, each one stresses a different value driver; dividend models, for instance, come out structurally low when payout is small. Every input is real reported data, nothing guessed.

Note: the current price implies far more future growth than the conservative anchors of our models allow (base growth is deliberately capped, we do not regard such extreme rates as sustainable). Our models are not designed for expectations this high; that is why the individual models scatter extremely ($0.0100 to $6.62). Read the values as a conservative anchor, not as a price target.
Model Bear Bear = the cautious scenario: the same model computed with conservative anchors (lower growth, margins and valuation multiples). Together with Bull it frames a plausible valuation range, not a price target.BaseBull Bull = the optimistic scenario: the same model computed with favourable anchors (higher growth, margins and valuation multiples). Together with Bear it frames a plausible valuation range, not a price target. Evidence
