From 4 valuation models · updated 12 days ago

Below-average quality, currently priced close to our fair value.

What matters now

  • The price is below even our cautious bear case ($0.0133). The market is more pessimistic than our downside scenario.
  • The price sits close to our fair value, market and models broadly agree here, little valuation tension.
  • The models converge in a tight band ($0.0133 to $0.0136), unusually little disagreement for a valuation.
  • Evidence is limited here (fewer models, shorter history), so the fair value is a rougher estimate than usual.

Analysis

Trinseo PLC (TSEOF) currently trades at $0.0130, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is $0.0134, implying the stock looks roughly 3.1% fairly valued today. The Quality Score stands at 33/100 (below-average quality), in the Basic Materials sector. Bull case: trading below our estimate, it may offer upside if the fundamentals hold. Bear case: a low price can be a value trap when quality is weak or the data is thin (evidence: low), always confirm before acting.

Over the trailing twelve months, Trinseo PLC generated revenue of $2.9B at a net margin of -20.0%. Revenue declined 7.7% year over year. Net debt stands at $2.4B. Fundamentals as of Jul 29, 2026

Our scenario range runs from $0.0133 (bear case) to $0.0136 (bull case); at $0.0130, the current price sits below that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. For context, the median of 10 Basic Materials peers we cover trades at -58% fair-value upside, at 3%, TSEOF screens cheaper than that median.
