Analysis
Croda International Plc (CRDA) currently trades at £29.28, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is £18.85, implying the stock looks roughly 35.6% overvalued today. The Quality Score stands at 59/100 (solid quality), in the Basic Materials sector. Bear case: priced above our estimate, the market already discounts strong expectations. Bull case: above-average quality can justify a premium, the entry price still matters most (evidence: high).
Over the trailing twelve months, Croda International Plc generated revenue of £1.7B at a net margin of 3.7%. Revenue grew 3.9% year over year. It earns a return on equity of 2.9%. Net debt stands at £524M. Fundamentals as of Jul 18, 2026
Our scenario range runs from £14.07 (bear case) to £18.85 (bull case); at £29.28, the current price sits above that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. For context, the median of 10 Basic Materials peers we cover trades at -58% fair-value upside, at -36%, CRDA screens cheaper than that median.
Fair Value models
Each model estimates fair value its own way; the Fair Value above is the evidence-weighted blend. Evidence (0–100) measures how completely this model’s inputs are available: well-fed models carry more weight in the blend. The spread across models is intentional, each one stresses a different value driver; dividend models, for instance, come out structurally low when payout is small.

Widest divergence: Growth DCF (£15.78) versus Growth Earnings (£6.33). Highest evidence: Growth DCF (80).
